Federica Iannella was born and lives in Senigallia, where since 2002 she is the holder organist at the Church of Santa Maria della Neve .

She has received her two degree  in Organ and Composition at the Conservatory "G. Rossini "in Pesaro  and “cum laude” in Interpretive Organ  at the Conservatory  " A. Pedrollo "in Vicenza with Maestro Roberto Antonello. She attended numerous Master classes, studying a wide organ literature from the Italian Renaissance to French and German Romanticism. A great experience was to study with M ° W. Zerer in Hamburg.

As soloist, she performing at several prestigious Italian and foreign Festivals in Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Mexico, United States and Russia. She has recorded several CD as a soloist, duet and with orchestra, getting awards and critical acclaim.

Her performance have been described as "musically full of temperament and expressive vivacity with particular talent for the art of using the organ registers”.
She graduated with honors in musicology at the University of Bologna. She combining the performance activity with the discovery and recording unpublished music and orchestral transcriptions for four hands, including the youth symphonies by Giuseppe Verdi, recorded together with the organist Silvio Celeghin, for the record label Tactus . She has edited critical editions of lyric operas and instrumental works, with particular reference to the production of organist composer from the Italian region “Marche”, Giovanni Morandi (1777-1856 ) .

Member of jury in organ competitions, she has lectured at historic character - musicology and in December 2010 she was invited by the Baroque Academy of Mexico City, as a teacher in a Master class about the Italian organ music from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century. 

Since 2003 she is artistic director of the International Festival of Organ of Senigallia ( for the enhancement of the organ heritage of the Diocese of Senigallia. She was Professor of Organ and Composition at the Conservatory of Monopoli, Reggio Calabria, Adria e Cagliari. Currently teaches at the Conservatory "L. Campiani” in Mantova.
